Our facility provides you peace of mind while you are away on vacation, business or just needing a break for a couple days. Your dog will be on his own vacation with hours of playtime everyday in a large yard with access to toys, friends, a private kennel with an outside run and lots of TLC. Our emphasis is to keep Collinswood small and personal, so that your dog’s experience here is second only to home. That’s the main reason we built only 10 kennel runs.
The inside of the run is spacious and comfortable with full heating and air conditioning throughout the kennel area. There is enough room to house 2-3 dogs from a household together; this makes the transition to our facility easier for multiple dog families. A rest bench is provided inside each run (the drain system is below the bench, so it is not accessible to the dogs. Each kennel is divided from adjacent ones by an FRP wall (Fiberglass Reinforced Panel) which adds security and noise reduction while your dog is at rest. The wall at the floor is sealed to prevent accidents from invading neighboring kennels.
We will provide your dog with bedding and snacks, you only need to provide his food and any necessary medications. If your dog has a special bed (that is not too large to fit in our washer!), please feel free to bring it, however, we strongly suggest that you leave all toys at home unless you don’t care if they come back. If your dog enjoys special bones or rawhide treats, bring them along and we will supply him with them during his stay.
Please note that during the weekend period (Friday – Sunday) your dog is welcome to stay for only one night, but there is a two-day minimum boarding charge.
So we can provide your pet with the best care, we may require a basic groom after a three day or longer stay at an additional charge. This will include Bath, Blow dry, Nail trim (grind), and Ear cleaning. As always, if you request additional grooming we will do our best to make sure it is completed when you arrive to pick up your pet. He will come home happy, tired and clean!
